Some individuals confuse the terms billiards and pool. However, this is not entirely inaccurate. The pool is a form of billiards. Do you get confused? Here's a simple overview of the difference between billiards, pool, and snooker. Billiards - a game played on a table with no pockets and three balls- one red ball, one white spotted ball, and one spotless white ball. Pool - played on a 6-pocket table with 9 to 15 object balls and an extra cue ball. The amount of balls required varies by pool type. Snooker - played on a table with six pockets. Snooker tables are larger than pool tables, but the pocket's size is smaller. Snooker is a game that uses 15 numberless pink balls, six numbered object balls, and one cue ball.
